BLUEBERRY SAUCE | |
1 rounded c. blueberries 1/2 c. water 1/3 c. sugar 2 tsp. cornstarch 1/8 tsp. salt 2 tsp. lemon juice In saucepan combine blueberries with water, bring to boil, cover and simmer 5 minutes. Press through sieve and return to saucepan. In small mixing bowl, blend sugar, cornstarch and salt and stir in blueberry juice. Cook and stir over low heat until slightly thickened and smooth. Blend in lemon juice. Makes about 1 1/4 cups. Recipe may be doubled. |
