POTATO ROLLS | |
2 c. scalded milk 1/2 c. sugar 1 c. potato flakes or 1 c. mashed potatoes 1/2 c. oil 2 eggs 1 tbsp. yeast dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water 5 - 5 1/2 c. flour or enough to make a soft, not sticky, dough Gradually mix and knead all ingredients to make a soft dough. Place in lightly greased bowl, turning once to grease top. Cover and let rise until double. After this, punch down in middle and shape as you like. Cinnamon rolls, parker house, etc. Let rise until doubled. Bake 375 degrees 15-20 minutes, or until lightly brown. Serve warm. |
