CHILI FOR A BUNCH 
4 lbs. ground beef or turkey
2 lg. onions, diced
2 lg. green pepper, diced
2 o 3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 c. chili powder
1/2 tsp. red pepper
2 (28 oz.) cans tomatoes
2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
Salt to taste, approximately 4 tsp.
2 bay leaves
Beans if you so desire

In a very large pot, 10 quarts or so, cook meat, onion, green pepper and garlic, stirring often, until all pan juices evaporate and meat is browned. Next stir in chili powder and ground red pepper; cook until well mixed. Stir in chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, salt and bay leaf; bring to boil, reduce heat and cook for at least 1 hour.
