CONGO SQUARES 
2/3 c. butter
1 pkg. brown sugar
2 3/4 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1 sm. pkg. chocolate bits
1 c. chopped nuts

Melt butter. Add brown sugar and blend. Add dry ingredients and eggs. Beat well. Add nuts and chocolate bits. Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
