FRESH RHUBARB CAKE | |
2 1/4 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 egg 1 c. butter 1 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 c. sour milk 1 tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 c. fresh rhubarb, chopped Sift together flour, soda, and salt. Add egg, butter, brown sugar, sour milk and vanilla. Mix 5 minutes with mixer. Fold in chopped rhubarb. Pour into greased 13 x 10 x 2 inch pan. TOP WITH: 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/4 c. white sugar 1 tbsp. butter, melted 1/2 c. pecans, chopped 1 tsp. cinnamon Mix and crumble over cake batter. Bake 40 to 50 minutes at 350 degrees. |
