APRICOT-PECAN BALLS 
1 1/2 c. crushed vanilla wafers (38 cookies)
1 c. finely chopped pecans
1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
1/2 c. finely snipped dried apricots
1/4 c. light corn syrup
2 tbsp. apricot brandy
1/4 c. sifted powdered sugar

In a bowl stir together vanilla wafers, pecans, 1/2 cup powdered sugar, and the apricots. Stir in corn syrup and brandy. Using one level tablespoon for each cookie, shape mixture into balls. Roll in remaining 1/4 cup powdered sugar. Store in a covered container. Makes 3 dozen cookies.
