CARAMEL LAYER BARS 
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. oatmeal
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. cashews

1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. milk

Cook filling in microwave for 3 minutes. Add 3/4 cup powdered sugar.

Press 1/2 of the crust mixture in an 8 x 8 pan and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Pour 3/4 caramel mixture on top of crust. Add cashews to remaining half of the crust and put on top of the caramel filling. Drizzle the last caramel over the top crust. Bake for 10 minutes longer.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
