LASAGNA 
1 lb. Italian sausage
1 lb. ground chuck
2 cloves garlic
1 tbsp. Italian seasoning
1 bay leaf
2 (1 lb.) cans tomatoes
2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste

Brown meat, drain. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 30 minutes.

CHEESE FILLING:

3 c. smooth and creamy cottage cheese
3/4 c. Parmesan cheese
2 eggs, slightly beaten
Pepper
Parsley

Mix ingredients well.

1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, grated
10 oz. lasagna noodles, cooked as directed on pkg.

Layer in lasagne dish half the noodles, half the cheese filling, half the Mozzarella cheese, half the sauce. Repeat layer. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool 10 minutes.
