ICE TEA SYRUP | |
Makes about 1/2 gallon syrup: 20 tea bags 5 c. sugar 6 c. water For 1 quart of syrup: 10 tea bags 2 1/2 c. sugar 3 c. water Bring water and sugar to a boil. Add tea bags and boil about 10 minutes (medium heat). Take tea bags out after 10 minutes. Cool and put in a jar. Syrup will keep a long time in the refrigerator. Measure 1/2 cup syrup to each quart of water. (Be sure to bring sugar and water to BOIL BEFORE adding tea bags.) |
