OVERNIGHT LAYERED GREEN SALAD 
1 head lettuce
1/2 c. sliced onions
1 c. thinly sliced celery
1 can drained, sliced water chestnuts
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
2 c. mayonnaise
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. seasoned salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
3 hard boiled eggs, chopped
1/2 - 3/4 lb. bacon, fried & crumbled (or bacon bits)

Shred lettuce, place in a 4 quart shallow serving dish. Top with onion, celery and water chestnuts. Open package frozen peas, break apart and sprinkle over salad. Spread mayonnaise evenly over the top. Sprinkle with sugar, Parmesan cheese, salt and garlic powder. Cover, chill up to 24 hours. Just before serving, sprinkle with hard boiled eggs and bacon. Serves about 10.
