BROCCOLI CASSEROLE 
20 oz. chopped broccoli
1 stick butter
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. water
Cheese sauce (recipe follows)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 1/3 c. quick-cooking rice, uncooked
3 strips crisp bacon

Arrange broccoli in bottom of 13 x 9 inch dish. Melt butter in pan and saute celery and onion. To that pan, add the water, cheese sauce, undiluted soup and uncooked rice. Mix well. Pour mixture over broccoli. Crumble bacon on top. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 to 60 minutes.

CHEESE SAUCE:

3 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
Shredded cheese to taste

Melt butter over medium heat; stir in flour to form a paste. Stir in milk and cheese; stir until cheese is melted.
