1 pkg. (6 oz.) chocolate chips
1/2 c. peanut butter
3 c. cereal flakes (corn flakes, wheaties, etc.)

Melt over hot (not boiling) water the chips and peanut butter. Stir to blend. Remove from heat. Add cereal flakes and stir until well coated with chocolate mixture. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper. Cool until set. Store remaining cookies in refrigerator.

Chow mein noodles can be substituted for cereal. Butterscotch chips can be substituted for chocolate chips.
