GELATIN POKE CAKE 
1 box white cake mix
1 pkg. (3 oz.) Jello raspberry or strawberry flavor
1 c. boiling water
1 c. cold water
2 c. Cool Whip

Prepare cake mix as directed on package. Bake in a well greased and floured 13 x 9 inch pan. Cool cake in pan on a rack 15 minutes. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; then add cold water. Poke warm cake with fork at 1/2 inch intervals. Spoon warm gelatin over cake. Chill 3 to 4 hours. Top with Cool Whip.
