PECAN PIE 
1/4 c. honey
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. Crisco
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. broken pecan meats

Heat honey and sugar together to form a smooth syrup and stir in butter and Crisco. Add beaten eggs. Vanilla and pecans. Pour into 8-inch pan lined with unbaked pie shell. Bake in moderate hot oven at 325 degrees until golden brown and done when tested with toothpick test.

PIE CRUST:

1 c. flour
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. water
