1 lb. lean ground beef 1 lb. ground pork sausage 1 lb. Velveeta cheese 1 tsp. oregano 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce Salt and pepper to taste 1 lg. pkg. of sm. party rye bread (cocktail) Brown beef and sausage together. Drain excess liquid. Add cheese, oregano, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Heat until cheese is completely melted. Put 1 teaspoon mixture on each rye bread. When ready to serve, broil until lightly brown and serve hot, about 5 minutes. These may be frozen until ready to be used. Do not need to be thawed before broiling. Excellent for parties. |
