PAKORA 
1 c. chick pea flour
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. plain yogurt
1 tsp. lemon juice
Oil for frying

ANY ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:

Grated carrots
Sliced onion
Cubed, cooked potato

Sift flour. Add chili, salt and yogurt and lemon juice, then add vegetables.

Heat oil in wok for deep frying. Drop tablespoons of batter and flatten. Cook until crisp. Great with chutney.
