BLACK WALNUT POUND CAKE 
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 pt. sour cream (8 oz.)
5 eggs
1 c. black walnuts, chopped
3 c. plain flour
3 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black walnut flavoring

Take 2 tablespoons of flour and coat nuts, set aside. Cream sugar, Crisco and butter until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, until well blended. Add sour cream; mix. Alternate dry ingredients with milk. Add flavoring and nuts and blend well. Spray angel food cake pan with vegetable spray. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour; turn oven to 300 degrees for 1/2 hour. Check cake last 30 minutes, may not take that long. Cool 15 minutes before removing from pan.

ICING:

4 oz. cream cheese
1/2 stick butter
5 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. black walnut flavoring
1 box confectioners' sugar

Blend first 4 ingredients until smooth. Add sugar and mix until spreading consistency. Frost cake.
