CARAMEL FUDGE BROWNIES 
1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
2/3 c. Pet milk
1 box German chocolate cake mix
1 c. pecans
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips or Nestle's semi-sweet chocolate morsels
2/3 c. melted butter

Combine caramels and 1/3 cup milk. Cook over low heat until caramels melt. Set aside. Combine cake mix and remaining 1/3 cup of milk, nuts, and butter. Press 1/2 dough into a 9 x 13 inch pan that has been greased and floured. Bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes. Remove from oven. Spread caramel on baked layer. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Crumble remaining cake mixture on top. Bake 15-18 minutes longer, then let it set overnight.
