APPLESAUCE MUFFINS 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
3/4 c. applesauce
1 3/4 c. sifted flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. melted butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

1. In a large bowl cream together butter and sugar.

2. Beat in eggs, one at a time, until light and fluffy.

3. Stir in applesauce.

4. In a small bowl, stir together flour, baking powder and salt.

5. Add dry ingredients to butter mixture and stir just enough to moisten.

6. Spoon into greased muffin pans.

7. Bake 15 minutes or until golden brown in 425 degree oven.

8. While warm, dip tops into melted butter and then into cinnamon sugar mixture.
