PRETZEL SALAD 
1 stick butter
1 c. pretzels, crushed
1/3 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 (9 oz.) Cool Whip
1 (20 oz.) can pineapple, crushed and drained
1/2 c. sugar

Melt butter in square Pyrex dish. Stir in pretzels and 1/3 cup sugar. Bake in 400 degree oven for 7 minutes. Stir pretzels after removing from the oven.

Mix cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar, fold in the Cool Whip and the pineapple. Pour over the pretzels and place in the refrigerator.
