Batter: 2 c. sugar 1/2 c. butter 2 eggs, beaten 1 c. milk 2 c. flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. vanilla Sauce: 1 c. sugar 1 c. hot water 1/2 c. cocoa 1 tsp. vanilla 2 (9 inch) pie crusts Boil sauce ingredients together for a few minutes. Cool and set aside. Begin batter by creaming sugar and butter together. Add beaten eggs. Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with milk to cream mixture. Add vanilla. Pour cooled chocolate sauce into pie crusts. Spoon batter over sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. |
