CHOCOLATY CHIP COOKIES - NO SALT
OR SODA
 
10 tbsp. butter, room temperature
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 lg. egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 (8 oz.) chocolate bar chopped coarse or 1 1/2 c. chopped chips
2/3 c. coarsely chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Beat butter, sugars, vanilla and egg until fluffy. Stir in flour. Mix in chocolate and pecans. Drop heaping spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet.

Bake 17 minutes. Cool on cookie sheet for 5 minutes then remove and cool remaining time on paper towel. Store in airtight container.
