BEEF ON RICE 
1 to 1 1/2 lbs. stew beef, cut into bite size pieces
1 pkg. (1 envelope) Lipton Dry Onion Soup Mix
2 cans cream of mushroom soup (Campbell's is best)

Place cut up stew beef in casserole dish plus 1/4 cup of water. Sprinkle dry soup over beef. Spread soup over all. DO NOT STIR. Place in oven at 250 to 300 degrees for 1 hour. Then stir. Put back in oven for second hour. (Or cook in crock pot all day. Serve over white or brown cooked rice.) (This is also good with potatoes instead of rice.)
