BELGIUM DESSERT 
1/2 lb. crushed vanilla wafers
1 lb. powdered sugar
3/4 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
No. 2 can crushed pineapple, drained
2 eggs
3/4 c. chopped pecans
Whipping cream

Line well buttered 8 x 12 pan with crushed wafers. Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and vanilla. Pour over vanilla wafers. Spread whipped cream over this. Dot with pineapple. Sprinkle with nuts and top with remaining crumbs. Press down gently with palm of hand. Cover and refrigerated overnight. May be kept a week. Improves with age.
