1 1/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. dry mustard
2 tsp. salt
1 sm. onion, grated fine
3/4 c. vinegar
1 c. oil
2 tsp. celery seed

Mix the first four ingredients to which stir in the vinegar very slowly. Using an electric mixer or a egg beater, add the oil very, very slowly. Last add the celery seed. This makes 2 1/2 cups of dressing. This dressing is delicious over many fruits served on lettuce.
