HAM AND CHEESE STRATA 
12 slices bread
3 c. shredded cheese
2 c. diced ham
6 eggs, slightly beaten
3 1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. instant minced onion
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
Dash of pepper and nutmeg

Cut bread into halves, diagonally. Arrange 1/2 on bottom of buttered 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with 2 cups cheese, then ham. Arrange remaining bread on top. Combine eggs, milk, onion and spices. Pour over bread. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Cover tightly. Refrigerate 6 hours or overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes.
