HOT WASSAIL 
2 qt. water
4 1/2 c. sugar
6 sticks cinnamon, broken
1 tsp. whole cloves
3 tbsp. candied ginger, may substitute 3 tsp. ground
1 (46 oz.) can orange juice
1 (46 oz.) pineapple juice
1 gallon apple cider

Bring water and sugar to a boil. Remove from heat and add cinnamon, cloves, and ginger. Steep for 1 hour; cool; add orange juice, pineapple juice, and apple cider. Serve hot. Makes about 2 gallons.
