MOM'S STRAWBERRY SOUR CREAM
SALAD
 
2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
1 c. boiling water
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
2 c. sour cream

Combine the gelatin and boiling water, stirring until gelatin is dissolved. Add the strawberries, pineapple and walnuts. Mix well. Turn half of the mixture into 11 x 7 x 1 1/2 inch pan. Chill until firm. Keep remaining gelatin mixture at room temperature. Spread 2 cups sour cream over firmly chilled gelatin mixture. Spoon on the remaining gelatin mixture. Chill.
