1 egg (room temperature) 3-4 tbsp. matzoh meal Salt & pepper 1 tbsp. chicken fat 8 Egg Recipe For A Crowd: 8 eggs 2 c. matzoh meal Salt & pepper Chicken fat The key to success is to beat egg white until stiff. Then gently blend in beaten yolks. Gradually add matzoh meal, sprinkling on top of egg mixture and then folding in. Adjust to correct consistency. Add seasonings and chicken fat. Chill and then with wet hands, shape into small balls. Cook in boiling water for 30 minutes. Covered - then add to soup for final few minutes of cooking. |
