LIMPA BREAD 
1 qt. warm water (save 1 cup and put yeast in it)
2 tbsp. lard or oil
3 tbsp. salt
3/4 c. molasses
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. anise seed
1/2 lg. yeast cake or 3 envelopes dry yeast
White flour

Knead together. Let rise to double its size. Put in greased pans. Bake 45 minutes at 325 to 350 degrees.
