CHOCOLATE CHIP PIE 
9 inch unbaked pastry shell
1/2 c. butter softened
2 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. vanilla extract or 2 tbsp. bourbon
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1 c. semi sweet choc. chips
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

Prepare pastry shell; set aside. Heat oven to 350 degrees. In small mixer bowl cream butter; add eggs and vanilla or bourbon. Combine sugar and flour; add to creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts; pour into unbaked pastry shell. Bake 45 minutes, cool about 1 hour and garnish with whipped cream if desired.
