APRICOT FRUIT CAKE 
1 stick butter
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 stick butter
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar

Cream first 3 ingredients together then add sugar. Mix well. Add 4 eggs separately to above mixture. To this add 2 1/2 cups flour (keeping 1/4 cup flour for fruit), 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder, pinch of salt. Then add 1 teaspoon vanilla.

Combine:

1 c. dried apricots cut up fine
1 c. raisins
1 c. cherries (strained)
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix fruit and nuts together with the 1/4 cup flour and add to mixture.

Grease floured tube pan. Spoon batter into pan evenly. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Cool on wire rack 10 minutes before turning out on rack to cool.
