LAYERED SALAD 
1 head lettuce, torn apart
1/2 c. celery, chopped
1/2 c. cucumbers, sliced thinly
1/2 c. onions, red, sliced thin
1/2 c. bell pepper, chopped
Bacon bits
Sm. can English peas, drained
2 c. mayonnaise
3 tbsp. sugar
2 c. grated sharp cheese with Parmesan mixed to taste

Layer each of the above ingredients. Put the lettuce on bottom, then celery, cucumbers, etc. When putting mayonnaise on, be sure to seal to edge of bowl. Sprinkle sugar over mayonnaise, then add cheese. Best made day ahead.
