LINGUINE WITH SAUSAGE AND
CHICKEN
 
1 lb. boneless chicken sliced
1 lb. hot or sweet Italian sausage links, sliced into 1 inch pieces
1 lb. mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
1 tsp. red pepper flakes
2 c. dry white wine
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
2 tbsp. olive oil
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. freshly grated Romano cheese
1 lb. linguine pasta

Place butter and olive oil in frying pan. Add chicken and saute until cooked, about 3 minutes. Remove from pan. Add sausage pieces and cook 4 minutes or until no longer pink. Add mushroom, seasonings, wine and 1/2 cup of Romano cheese. Stir well. Add chicken and heat through. Serve over cooked linguine. Sprinkle with remaining Romano cheese.
