BUCKEYE BALLS | |
1 1/2 c. creamy peanut butter 1 (16 oz.) pkg. powdered sugar 1/2 c. butter, softened 1 tsp. vanilla 6 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips 2 tbsp. solid shortening (Crisco) Mix peanut butter, sugar, butter, and vanilla; shape into balls and place on waxed paper in refrigerator. Meanwhile, melt chocolate pieces and Crisco over hot water in a double boiler. Then dip balls into chocolate until covering 2/3 of ball. (Use a toothpick to dip.) Refrigerate at least 30 minutes. |
