CRUNCHY DESSERT TOPPING 
1 1/4 c. Quaker Oats (quick or old fashioned), uncooked
1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/3 c. butter, melted
1/3 c. finely chopped nuts

Combine all ingredients; mix well. Cook in 10 inch skillet over medium heat 5 to 7 minutes until golden brown, stirring constantly. Spread onto wax paper to cool completely. Store tightly covered in refrigerator. Serve as topping over Sundae Chocolate Squares, fruit, yogurt, frozen yogurt, or pudding. 16 servings.

Microwave Oven Directions: In a 1 quart microwaveable bowl, combine all ingredients; mix well. Microwave at high 4 to 5 minutes or until golden brown, stirring after 2 minutes. Spread onto wax paper to cool completely. Proceed as recipe directs above.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
