MANGLE BREAD - PEANUT BARS 
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
3 tsp. baking powder

Sift together 3 times.

1 cup boiling milk
2 egg whites, stiffly beaten

Pour boiling milk over first 3 items. Fold in egg whites and add flavoring. (1/2 tsp pure almond extract or 1 tsp vanilla)

Bake in a greased 9x13-inch cake pan for 40 minutes at 325-350°F. Cut cake into squares and frost with powdered sugar mixed with hot water. Sprinkle with ground peanuts.
