BUTTERSCOTCH DESSERT 
3/4 c. butter, melted
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 1/2 c. flour
Dash of salt

Mix together and spread on the bottom of a 9x13 baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

2ND LAYER:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. Cool Whip

Beat cream cheese and sugar together. Fold in Cool Whip and spread over crust.

3RD LAYER:

2 pkgs. (3 1/2 oz.) instant butterscotch pudding
3 c. milk

Beat pudding and milk together. Spread over cream cheese layer. Finally top with Cool Whip and sprinkle with nuts.
