1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, in its own juice
1 (18.25 oz.) box yellow cake mix
1 c. chopped pecans
1 stick butter, cut into piece (4 oz.)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9 x 13 inch glass baking dish. Dump in, in order, cherry filling, undrained pineapple, dry cake mix, and nuts. Smooth after each layer. Do NOT mix. Place butter pieces on top. Bake for 45-60 minutes. Yields 10-12 servings. Serve with ice cream.
