APPLE GOODY 
3 c. tart apples, chopped
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. lemon sugar
1 tbsp. water

All of above in bottom of baking dish.

CRUST:

3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. oatmeal
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 stick butter
1/2 c. pecans
1/2 c. flour

Into a buttered baking dish put the apples, sugar, lemon juice and water mixture. Cream butter and brown sugar. Combine flour, oatmeal and spices. Mix together with butter and sugar mixture, add nuts. Cover apples with this crust. Bake in slow oven 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. Cut into squares and top with vanilla ice cream. Crust is very stiff.
