CARAMEL CRACKERS 
2 boxes Ritz Bits
1 c. peanuts
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda

Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Combine crackers and nuts in a greased large shallow pan. In saucepan, bring butter, sugar and corn syrup to a boil - cook 5 minutes. Remove from heat, add vanilla and baking soda. Pour caramel sauce over crackers and peanuts, stir well. Bake 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes. Pour on wax paper - cool.
