CABBAGE SALAD 
1/2 med. head cabbage, shredded
2-3 green onions, sliced, including some green tops
1 pkg. chicken flavor ramen noodles, uncooked
2 tbsp. sesame seeds, toasted
1/2 c. slivered almonds, toasted

Combine cabbage and onions. Break ramen noodles into small pieces and add to cabbage. Toast sesame seeds and slivered almonds separately, as they brown at different times. Add to cabbage.

DRESSING:

1/2 c. oil
3 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. pepper
Seasoning packet from ramen noodles

Stir or shake dressing ingredients to blend thoroughly. Pour dressing over cabbage and toss to mix well.
