CHILI CHICKEN 
2 to 2 1/2 lbs. chicken pieces
2 tbsp. oil
1 onion, sliced
1 bottle chili sauce
1 tsp. oregano
Parmesan cheese
Optional: sliced fresh mushrooms, more onions

Brown chicken in oil. Drain fat and season chicken. Add onion and cook for 30 minutes, covered, on medium to medium low heat. Stir in chili sauce and oregano. Cook, uncovered, for 10 minutes. Baste. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

OPTIONAL; After first 15 minutes covered cooking, add lots of sliced mushrooms. I also use more than 1 sliced onion.
