BRAN MUFFINS 
Pour 2 cups boiling water over 2 cups 100% Nabisco Bran. Mix and cool.

2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco

Beat in 4 eggs.

5 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
5 tsp. baking soda

Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Add and mix 1 quart buttermilk and 4 cups Kellogg's All Bran. Add cooled Nabisco Bran mixture and stir well. Pour into large bowl or pitcher and let stand in refrigerator AT LEAST 24 HOURS before using. DO NOT stir in container. Just dip out from container and bake in greased muffin tins 15 to 20 minutes at 400 degrees.

Take right from refrigerator and bake. Batter will keep for one month. When batter is half gone, give it a good stir and put in smaller container.

Otherwise, DO NOT STIR.
