BEST BROWNIES FROSTING 
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. shortening
1/4 c. corn syrup
3 tbsp. baking chocolate
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Chopped nuts, optional

Put all ingredients into saucepan and bring to a boil for 1 minute, not vanilla. Remove from heat. Add vanilla. Beat until thick and cool. Add nuts. Spread on brownies. Note: You can put pan of frosting in cold water while mixing. It will thicken faster.
