ANN'S MOIST BANANA BREAD 
1/4 lb. butter
1 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. self-rising flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
2 c. bananas, mashed
1/2 c. pecans
1/2 c. golden raisins, soaked in warm water & drained

Mix butter and sugar. Add flour, soda and salt. Add eggs and bananas; mix well. Add nuts and raisins. Bake in loaf pans at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes, depending on size of pan. Sprinkle top with powdered sugar.

This bread came out great. It was really compact and very moist. I did not add the raisins (didn't have them in the house) and I didn't feel the need for the powdered sugar. My son and husband loved it.
