OKRA SOUP 
3 c. diced potatoes, or cubed
1 c. sliced okra
1 lg. onion
4 lg. tomatoes, chopped
1 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. butter
1 qt. milk
1 sm. can evaporated milk

Cook vegetables, salt and butter until vegetables are done. Add can of milk when this begins to boil. Add the quart of milk. Do not let boil after adding the quart of milk, just let get hot, as it will curdle. Serve with crackers.
