CHICKEN AND CARROTS 
1 chicken, cut up, or several chicken breasts
Flour
Salt
Pepper
Crisco
Ma rgarine
1 med. onion
2 or 3 cans carrots

Roll chicken in mixture of flour, salt and pepper. In a deep electric skillet, use equal amounts of Crisco and butter (use enough for amount of chicken used. You may also cook in a large frying pan.) Brown chicken and onion together. After chicken is done, add carrots and pour small amount of carrot juice over top of chicken. Add salt to taste. Let simmer until hot. It may be a little messy but is very tasty.
