APPLE CRISP 
8" square pan
1 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. butter, softened
10 red apples, sliced 1/4"
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 stick butter, cut into 4 patties

Butter dish and arrange apple slices in bottom. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Arrange 4 butter patties on top. Mix flour, 3/4 cup softened butter and brown sugar. This will be dry and crumbly. Put crumbly mix on top of apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
