SOUR CREAM APPLE PIE 
2 c. apples, sliced or chopped
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. sour cream
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
1 unbaked pie shell

Combine sugar and flour. Add cream and egg, flavoring, and salt. Beat until smooth. Mix in sliced apples. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake 450 degrees for 15 minutes. Bake 325 degrees for 30 minutes. Combine:

1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 c. flour
1/4 c. butter

Sprinkle over cooked pie. Bake 10 minutes at 400 degrees. NOTE: This was my Mother's recipe. We always have it at Thanksgiving.
